Located north of Elizabeth, Colorado, owner Dave Tallent's fabled
Clubhouse has long been a meeting place for artists and musicians. The
Fabulous CheezTones!! regrouped at the Clubhouse between multiple gigs on a day back in 2001. In early 2005, the
Mongrels,
Malcolm and the Oi Oi Boys, and
Ganz Vorbei participated in a benefit concert for the survivors of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
Electric Mind Gravy practiced at the Clubhouse before recording their EP,
Flannel, in late 2007. Singer-songwriter
Terry Stinnette of Leadville was an artist-in-residence during 2009, recording and performing impromptu. Denver based drum & bass punk legends,
Red vs. Black, recorded their self-titled album at the Clubhouse in 2009 and used it for rehearsals prior to their 2008 and 2009 summer tours.
Los Analog Studios, now housed in the Clubhouse, opened officially on New Years Day 2008. It serves as a music cooperative where a variety of artists including
Cosmic Sound Child and
Ha Ha Hooligans share rehearsal space and equipment. Dave and collaborator
Alan Jones spearhead the studio's house band, the
Martyrs, and its changing lineup of musicians.
This is really cool daddy! I am very happy to be your daughter. Thank you for helping every body's dreams come true. We should call you Walt from now on! ha :)
