A great gig, due in no small part to:

• the coolest crowd of Democrats anywhere. An indelible moment was a dance floor filled with cowboy hats, two-stepping to the Grateful Dead's "Ripple." Where else, but Elizabeth, Colorado?
  
• the guitar prowess of honorary Martyr, Michael Cone. He raised our game.
  
• an appearance by Colorado gubernatorial candidate and Martyrs fan (we were thanked in his opening remarks), John Hickenlooper.
